The Sig Sauer® P229® Legion Compact Semi-Auto Pistol is finished in a proprietary Legion gray PVD coating. The P229 is compact enough to carry concealed while offering exceptional ergonomics and balance to deliver major firepower when needed. The P229 Legion comes with an enhanced polished action, and an SRT (Short-Reset Trigger) augmented with a Grayguns Inc., P-SAIT trigger. The trigger is the intermediate length and adjustable for over travel. A reduced and contoured Elite beavertail and an X-Five undercut trigger guard allow for a higher grip, putting the shooter’s hand in closer alignment with the bore line for greater fire control while keeping the hand from sliding up on the hammer during rapid fire. Other combat enhancements include custom G-10 grips, aggressive checkering on the front strap and trigger guard, and front and rear cocking serrations on the slide. Electro-Optics X-RAY3 high-visibility, 3-dot tritium sights are quick to acquire in almost any lighting. The rear sight is also serrated to eliminate glare in full sunlight. The frame features an integral 3-lug Picatinny rail for attaching aftermarket sights and lights. The P229 operates with a double-action/single-action design, with only 3 controls: the slide stop, the magazine release, and the decocker, enabling the pistol to be deployed quickly without having to flip a mechanical safety on or off.
